From Day 1, UREEQA’s focus has been on those who create. The entire premise of the platform is to protect, manage and monetize creative work on behalf of Creators, and now we’re officially open for business to every creative mind on the planet.

Our minimum viable product (MVP) has officially launched publicly at UREEQA.com. It’s a historic development in the realm of NFTs, digital assets in general and the evolution of copyright protection and enforcement.

The initial stage of the MVP invites Creators to upload music, videos, digital images and written works for permanent time stamps on the Ethereum blockchain. If you’re a Creator, this presents your first real opportunity to truly stake a claim to your work, but the benefits span well beyond that.

Public MVP Creators will have the chance to kill several birds with one stone as UREEQA offers a full gamut of opportunities.

All Creators have a desire to protect their work, but most have a natural ambition to showcase said work, and many are understandably driven to monetize it. Our public MVP can do all of the above.

Protect your work with a batch timestamp, an individual staked claim or full-blown Validation

Batch timestamp: Creators who upload their work to the platform will have said work permanently time-stamped on the blockchain. With this hash on the blockchain, Creators will have an immutable and public record attached to their creative work. This service is free during the public MVP.

Individual staked claims: UREEQA provides Creators the option to include additional information and supporting documents in the hash written to the blockchain. By including this information and supporting documents, you’re provided an extra level of proof that can be used in future disputes or monetization opportunities. During the public MVP, this comes at a discounted price of US$45 per claim.

Validation: Users can also have their work Validated by UREEQA’s trained Validators, resulting in the ultimate Package of Proof to claim work as theirs. Once the creative work passes Validation, an NFT is Responsibly Minted™. This will inextricably and permanently link you to your creation and will represent your rights to your creation. The NFT will include a suite of documents and other artifacts collected during the Validation process that provide a compelling case for originality, authenticity and authorship. Validation can be accomplished via UREEQA’s sponsorship program (more on that below) or by submitting an application for validation through the platform.

Showcase your work in UREEQA’s Community Feed

Any work uploaded to the platform will live on our Community Feed, where users can like creative work, follow Creators who inspire them, and otherwise engage with the creative community.

Monetize your work on UREEQA’s NFT 2.0 Marketplace

Finally, your work can hit UREEQA’s newly launched and updated Marketplace, where anyone can bid on and purchase creations using crypto or a credit card (allowing nocoiners to get in on the NFT action for the first time). You’ll also have a chance to edit and manage your profile and track purchases and bids.

Another potential perk? UREEQA will be running a sponsorship program in which selected creations from the Community Feed will be sponsored for validation and monetization opportunities at no upfront cost to the Creator.

This will allow less-established Creators more opportunities to showcase and sell their work. The program will be rooted in community engagement and work will be selected based on inspiring Creator stories, vote results during sponsorship campaigns, Creator engagement in the UREEQA community on and off the platform, and other factors.
